being held in the stunning surroundings of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park on Aug 20th & 21st.
This fabulous family-friendly day out is brought to you by Miss Ivy Events
and will provide a whole host of fun and entertainment for young and not so young alike.
There will be lots to see and do – an extensive array of gifts will be on display
at the many artisan stalls, providing tempting opportunities to purchase unique and
unusual gifts – you can even try your hand at getting creative yourself at one
of the workshops taking place during the day.
There will be entertainment with performances and great live music from local band
‘Girl Friday’ and the Cornwall Rock Choir.
The children will have a wonderful time with the bouncy castle, circus workshops,
Punch & Judy Show, fire eating performances (Sat only), pig racing (Sunday only),
traditional games and lots more!
Don’t forget to bring Fido along too – there will be a fun charity dog show to enjoy as well.
Delicious food and drink will be served throughout the day –
and it wouldn’t be a summer fete without that most British of summer drinks –
Pimms, which will be available at the hugely popular Pimms Bar.
The Great British Summer Fete on Saturday & Sunday, August 20th & 21st
will be staged at the bottom of the park near the Orangery.

AN INTIMATE AUDIENCE WITH JOANNA COOKE AT RAME INNOVATION HUB

Saturday 10th September

Joanna, much like her South West counterparts, Joss Stone and Jo Harman, demonstrates that true soul and emotional connection is not simply constrained by colour or creed. Moreover, her self-penned songs leave a lasting impression on audiences, by dint of their raw honesty and song craft.

Expect high quality vocals and the songs to match from UK artist Joanna Cooke. Described by Motown legend Martha Reeves as the baby girl singing the blues, Cooke’s successes include festival main stage appearances and supporting Sir Tom Jones, Paloma Faith & Rag’n’Bone Man. Joanna has also played theatre shows with nationally respected artists Jo Harman, Beth Rowley & Martin Harley and has a busy ongoing schedule of solo shows in more intimate venues.
