Join The Rame Tourism and Business Association (marketing brands Visit Rame and Crabpot) to promote your business…
Why is the Rame Tourism and Business Association (hereinafter referred to as RTBA) good for your business ?
RTBA is the only official, member-led association dedicated to promoting the Rame Peninsula and its businesses. As a not-for-profit organisation, led by experienced local business people, it provides professional marketing through the recognised Visit Rame and Crabpot brands, supports local events, and works with key partners like Visit Cornwall. Members benefit from increased visibility, shared promotion, and strong local partnerships - all designed to help local businesses grow.
it is the only official tourism body/Tourism and Business Association working solely to promote the Rame Peninsula and its member businesses
it is membership led, and run by an elected Executive Committee of volunteers for the benefit of members
Visit Rame is the core official brand of the Association and is widely recognised when working collaboratively with other stakeholders
Crabpot brand and Crabpot.co.uk are owned by the Association and used for marketing purposes.
the Association is non profit making, investing in its members and hence the community
it is run professionally and voluntarily by experienced local business people
it publicises events and member businesses in and around the Rame Peninsula
it works on behalf of members to achieve economies of scale
it engages with Cornwall County Council (Visit Cornwall) and other stakeholders and Tourism Associations, to promote the Rame Peninsula
it works in partnership with leading businesses on the Rame Peninsula and has links to and from this website
key local strategic partnerships have been developed to support our member businesses on the Rame Peninsula with these key businesses linking directly into our pages, hence avoiding duplication of effort
the Association owns 2 websites www.visitrame.co.uk and www.crabpot.co.uk which are professional and mobile friendly. These websites are the only membership owned websites to find places to stay, eat, shop, get married and explore within the Rame Peninsula
How much is membership ?
Membership of RTBA is currently £60 per year (as at 1/4/26) – We recognise that some of our members may have more than one business (trading under the same legal entity)* so we will usually allow for up to two listings to be included in this eventuality. Charges for multiple listings are set at the discretion of the Chair and Treasurer as deemed appropriate depending upon the nature of the listings required.
