Situated in the valley of Cornwalls Stunning Rame Penninsula, Manor Lodge is an 800 year old Grade 1 listed building. Steeped in history, Charles 1 stayed here when hiding from the Roundheads. The courtyard was held here once a month…. it was a working farm.. the oldest standing building in the area. Traditionally decorated. Since opening in 2008, we provide a bed and breakfast package as well as Self catering packages in the same building. Sometimes B&B ers find they have the whole house to themselves! As we do not live on the premises, we live next door; you can use the downstairs lounge instead of being confined to your room. If you prefer plunger coffee to your bedroom facilities, its on the bench in the kitchen to help yourself to.Don’t be fooled by the outside! When you pull up the tarmac drive, there is a view over Millbrook village, which is a 5 minute walk. Upon entering the white door, off reception area there is a brick cobbled courtyard to relax in, with seasonal planters and hanging baskets. For self caterers, the gas barbecue is for use, and a smoker as well as a charcoal barbecue. The shed can hold a couple of pushbikes.Winners of Channel 4’s ‘4 in a bed’ programme, and 4 star rated by Cottages.com. We welcome you to relax in our home away from home.
